Client Spotlight: Urban Bloc
With the Giants’ opening day right around the corner, we would like to spotlight a past client who is doing great things with environmentally-friendly commercial development. UrbanBloc is the company behind “The Yard,” the ultra-hip pop-up village assembled from upcycled shipping containers that house local food and drink establishments as well as retail vendors. It was installed in a portion of Lot A adjacent to the ball park and waterfront.
LOOK worked with UrbanBloc to develop a corporate brand that matched their footprint. The blocks of their logo form a scaled-down version of their cargo containers, giving a nod to the modular nature of their product. The logo solution is simple, bold and easy to implement which is key for the client’s start-up budget. We applied the new brand to mini business cards, carrying their core values into every aspect of the brand.
